Lawn, Landscape and Pressure Washing Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What payment methods do you accept for your home and business services?
A: You may pay by cash, check, or money order. For clients wishing to pay by credit card, we accept most major credit cards with payment throught PayPal, and you may call or contact us for details. Terms are Net30.
Q: You state that no contract is required, so can I have services on a regular schedule?
A: Certainly. For those of you who are new to Adams Services we specialize in total monthly lawn care and landscaping while maintaining and enhancing the look of your home, or business. Scheduling is based on your needs. Keep in mind that the schedule is not an appointment, so there may be circumstances that prevent service on a certain day and expected time.
Q: My property is fairly small, so do I end up paying more being on a monthly service schedule?
A: No. Payment is according to the size of the job, and we welcome projects whether large or small. We offer a basic lawn service which ensures your lawn is mowed, edged, trimmed, sprayed with weed kill, and blown. The service may be perfect for what you require.
Q: I have a large front yard with a nice lawn and not much else, so do you provide landscaping design ideas?
A: Yes. With our landscaping service we can offer you that scenic change. We can provide a fresh and distinct new look whether it's a new flower bed, laying new sod, or enhancing what you already have. If you spend time away from home or just run a very busy schedule and would prefer a look with very low maintenance we can help. We understand that your landscape is only as good as it is maintained, and for this reason many of our rental property owners prefer a low maintenance option.
Q: For a larger property what do you offer on a monthly basis?
A: For customers requiring additional services our full monthly service is available providing the basic services ensuring your lawn is mowed, edged, trimmed, sprayed with weed kill, and blown. In addition to those services our staff pays attention to shrubs, flowerbeds, plus bush and tree trimming.
Q: Do you provide advice about fertilizers, pest control, or problem lawns?
A: Yes. We inspect the condition of your property as we perform our services. You should certainly avoid over fertilizing as this can stress plants and leave them vulnerable to disease. Prevention is maintaining a healthy turf with correct mowing procedures, watering and fertilization. Preventing disease is the best strategy and once the symptoms are visible chemical rescue treatments are not recommended for home owners.
Q: What is the most common mistake homeowners make in caring for their lawn?
A: Lawn experts agree that the majority of lawn care problems arise from not mowing the grass at the correct height. Mowing the grass at the correct height will keep your grass at its best and increase your lawns density and reduce problems.
Q: What advice do you have to tell when pressure washing services are required?
A: Pressure washing is needed when dirt, mold, mildew, fungus, or rust stains accumulate on the exterior of your property making it look old and dirty. We have the equipment for each of those conditions.
